Nnooo talks WiiWare/DSiWare/3DS support, status update on Spirit Hunters, WiiWare title in the works
A portion of a Vooks interview with Nic Watt of Nnooo…
V: You must be happy with the success of the myNotebook and myPostcards apps for DSiWare. What other non-gaming software would you like to produce or see other people make for the handheld?
NW: We are keen to continue the myLifeCollected range of software for DSiWare and in future the 3DS too. We think there are a lot of great ideas you could bring to the DSi and 3DS. One of our next titles in the myLifeCollected range is myDiary which allows the users to write a note or memo each day and set alarms to act as reminders. As for other ideas we really think the sky is the limit. To us most users want to purchase as few devices as possible and as the myriad of devices on the market... [Read More]

Sakamoto - fleshing out Samus` character, impossible to do Other M sequel without Team Ninja, Wii successor and much more
A portion of a CVG interview with Sakamoto…

S: Depicting the story of Samus Aran in this game was one of the most important game design concepts from the very beginning because before Other M I did not think about what kind of person Samus Aran was and how she thinks and her personality. We did not do that by writing or by letting her speak a lot.
Plus because of the existence of the Metroid Prime series many people might have different ideas about what kind of person Samus Aran was. That was a concern for me because Metroid has... [Read More]

DJ Dan Tiesto named official ˜ambassador` of DJ Hero 2 in Europe
“It’s every child’s dream to actually be in a video game. Europe has always been at the forefront of new music and club culture, and it’s a great feeling to be a part of something that will bring the excitement of the world’s biggest clubs into people’s homes.” - DJ Dan Tiesto
No word on what Tiesto will do as ‘ambassador’, but I’m guessing it involves lots of promotion. The DJ is already a playable character in the sequel, and he also offered up three different tracks for gamers to scratch away on.

Gunblade NY and L.A. Machineguns Arcade Hits Pack - review
A portion of a Diehard GameFAN review…
Players looking for a more difficult rail shooter ought to look elsewhere because the porting of the two games to the Wii has eliminated all the challenge that might`ve been in either of them. All in all, Gunblade NY and L.A. Machineguns were better off in the arcades, but a console version is available if you really want it.
